BluSky Connection Guide
Steps to Set Up a Rithmic-Based BluSky Connection:
1. Complete Account Activation
- Ensure that you've completed the necessary steps to activate your BluSky account on our website.
2. Download & Sign Into R|Trader Pro to accept the Market Data Agreements:
- Click Here to Download R|Trader Pro
- Open R|Trader Pro and log in using your BluSky credentials.
- Ensure Market Data is OFF and selective mode is OFF.
- Log in with:
- System: Rithmic Paper Trading
- Gateway: Chicago Area
- Sign the mandatory Market Data Agreements as a Non-Professional.
- Now, just minimize the R|Trader Pro window. You are done with it for now.
3. Create a NinjaTrader Username (if you don't have one):
- Go to NinjaTrader.com and sign up to create a username.
- After creating your username, activate it through the confirmation email.
4. Configure NinjaTrader Connection:
- Open NinjaTrader and sign in with your NinjaTrader username.
- If you don't see the configure button, enable "Multi-provider Mode" in Tools > Options > General > Multi-provider mode > Then restart NinjaTrader and sign back in.
- Go to Control Center > Connections > configure.
- Double-click "Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage" from the 'Available' list.
- Enter your BluSky credentials, set the System to, "Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago)" and click OK.
- Connect by selecting "My Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage" from the Connections menu.
Troubleshooting: If you can connect, but don't see the account:
- If you are able to connect to your BluSky Credentials within NinjaTrader, but the evaluation account isn't showing, please write in to ClientServices@NinjaTrader.com with:
- Your Email Address
- NinjaTrader Username
- Indicate BluSky as the Evaluation Service
- Note: If the Evaluation (Rithmic) Entitlement is missing, it doesn't prevent the connection from turning green and connecting. However, the Evaluation account won't be visible within the NinjaTrader platform until this has been enabled.
